Walter Carter Douglas

Savannah - Walter Dale Carter Douglas, age 88, died Thursday, November 8, 2007. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Waldo Douglas and her son, Ralph Elvin Douglas.
Surviving are her daughter, Laverne Lott of Cape Coral, FL; her sister, Mabel Anderson of Savannah; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery with Dr. Jim Staubes officiating.
